Robot Aviation delivers drones and training to Lithuanian State Border Guard Service (SBGS)

Robot Aviation has delivered drone systems to the Lithuanian State Border Guard Service (SBGS) for border surveillance, as well as training for hundreds of border guards.
The European Union (EU) has dedicated €15 million to strengthen border control with Belarus, and a portion of the budget is dedicated to Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and border surveillance equipment.
The systems delivered to Lithuania are equipped with thermal and optical sensors for ISR operations 24/7. In addition to the drones, the delivery includes Robot Aviation’s NATO compliant Ground Control Station (GCS), SkyView.
The breakthrough contract with the Lithuanian SBGS will open for further sales in the region as Robot Aviation targets countries in the Baltic and eastern part of Europe.
Robot Aviation has developed and produced NATO compliant drones and ground control software since 2008. The company specializes in fixed long-endurance wing drones, and also offers Vertical Take Off and Landing (VTOL) multi-rotor drones.
